Andrew Stein and John Walczyk started as college roommates but are now co-owners of several community pharmacies including Birds Hill Pharmacy in Needham. From learning the ins and outs of owning a business to navigating their company through a pandemic, Needham Bank has been by their side with helpful advice and solutions.
When Andrew and John were first looking to acquire Birds Hill Pharmacy, they turned to Needham Bank for help with financing. In return, he held several COVID vaccine clinics at Needham Bank to help vaccinate front-line retail employees and dropped off hand sanitizer made at his company to Needham Bank branches through the drive-thru teller lines.
Now, Andrew and John have expanded their banking relationship with us and now use Needham Bank for specific day-to-day operations—showing what great can come from a symbiotic relationship.
