Needham Bank announced that Lori Schofield joined the Residential Lending team as vice president residential loan officer. Ms. Schofield will be responsible for originating first mortgage loans, promoting Needham Bank’s lending services to the real estate community, and helping to identify and serve the community’s financial needs through home loan counseling and real estate seminars.
With over 35 years of banking experience, Ms. Schofield was most recently assistant vice president, senior loan development officer at Santander Bank. From the last 22 years, she oversaw all facets of the loan origination process, working with customers to ensure that their mortgage loans closed on time. Prior to that, she was a mortgage loan officer at Cambridgeport Bank.
“Lori has extensive knowledge of mortgage products and regulations, which make her extremely qualified to perform well in her new role,” commented Mike Sinclair, executive vice president, residential & consumer lending. “She will be a great addition to our team.”

Ms. Schofield received her bachelor of science in education from American International College in Springfield, MA.
