Needham Bank announced that James Medugno has joined the Information Technology department as Vice President – System Engineering Manager. Mr. Medugno brings over 25 years of experience to his new role, where he is responsible for technical engineering, implementation and support of Bank technologies.
From 2004 to 2023, Mr. Medugno worked at Wells Fargo, in a variety of roles with increasing responsibility. Most recently he was a CISSP, GCSA, Senior Information Security Engineer, where he took the lead in deploying Citrix Federated Authenticated Service SSO solution. Prior to that, he was Assistant Vice President, Citrix Design and Engineering Architect. Mr. Medugno worked for Bank of America as a Senior Systems Administrator before joining Wells Fargo.

Mr. Medugno holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Business from Providence College and an MBA in Business Management from Bentley College—Elkin B. McCallum Graduate School of Business. He also has earned several different certifications from Microsoft and Citrix.
